如何备份共享数据库或Geneious服务器数据库？

无法使用Geneious中的“备份”按钮备份Generic共享数据库。 

对于标准（直接SQL连接）共享数据库 ，建议您使用标准备份过程对共享数据库进行定期备份，以选择SQL数据库（例如sql-dump）。  

对于Geneious Server数据库 ，有两部分要备份-SQL数据库和服务器文件系统上的服务器数据：

1. 使用您选择的SQL数据库的标准备份过程备份sql数据库。The default SQL database name is ”geneiousserver” but the actual name used is specified in the database.properties configuration file found in
   /home/HOSTNAME/.geneiousServerConfig/.
2. Backup the following directory on the Geneious Server:
   /home/HOSTNAME/.geneiousServerX.Ydata, where ”HOSTNAME” is the actual host name of the computer, and ”X.Y” is the major and minor version number of Geneious Server, for example ”11.1” if running version 11.1.5.此目录包含Geneious文档的内容，这些内容太大而无法完全存储在SQL数据库中。

如果您希望存档数据或创建数据的第二个副本以存储在其他位置，最简单的选择是以.geneious格式从Geneious导出文件夹或文档，并将其保存在安全的地方。要还原，请将.geneious文件拖放回Geneious中的数据库。
